Aqua Infinity cabin help

Hi,

Looking at doing the infinity TA from rio to Lisbon. Lots of sea days so hoping for a good view and a quiet place to nap.

Hoping for some help deciding between 9 and 11 on a millennium class ship. Do all the aqua cabins on 9 have the same overhang from above?  What cabins on 9 do you consider generally safe from noise ?

on 11 which cabins have noise issues from the movies?

many thanks for your wisdom and experience

Steve

Yes all the Aqua rooms on 9 have the overhang and are below pool so you can hear noise from rolling carts or moving chairs.   The overhang can be nice if you don't want a lot of sun and does let you still use the balcony if there is light rain.

I personally like deck 11.  The balcony's can be a bit smaller and have no overhead protection so they get full sun.   These cabins were added just over 10 years ago so are a bit less worn.  The aft facing ones are very popular and have probably been sold out long ago.   There are very heavy doors to the outside at both ends of both hallways so I wouldn't want to be in the first few cabins on either end.

We have been in 1106 and 1108 and think it's a great location right next to the stairs.  1 flight down and you are in the back of the buffet.  We have 1110 booked for our March sailing.

Thank you for all that information. I had not even thought about rain. Hope you have a great trip!
