I didn't notice many covid people on this trip, a few people wore masks, most not ..I didn't, just stay away from the meat packing places like the Lido pool.

That’s because they were in quarantine.  My husband was one of those and spent 6 days in quarantine before testing negative and being released.  I was deemed  a close contact and was tested every two days until 48 hours after his negative test.  On days medical center didn’t test, I did self test … so nine negative tests in all.  We were very careful … wore masks on embarkation and in transit day in Ft Lauderdale,  ate in Club Orange (smaller dining venue ), no pool areas, avoided elevators and  no large bus tours.  Triple boosted.  Still got Covid … and there were others.  We knew and accepted the risks of travel these days

I’m sorry for your vacation being interrupted by Covid, I hope your next cruise is better

Last night we stayed in our stateroom to watch the championship games and toward the end of the evening we both began to feel cruddy.  This morning was no better so we took a Covid test we brought and both of us tested positive.  We called medical and they confirmed the dx after we went for a second test there.  We are now in isolation until we disembark.

Kevin,

All the best to you.

Covid passengers starting leaving today around 7:30.  Not a glamorous send off.  Here’s the gate. Good Luck

It was the best embarkation ever, did not have to go through customs and got to leave before everyone else! I'm saving this picture of my husband and I thanks!

Glad I got a picture of you and your husband.  Next time, don’t get Covid.  The other self assist passengers left at 7:15.

Here’s one of you guys looking for your luggage.

Lol, did you take pictures of everyone getting off the ship this way? We were supposed to be escorted off at 7:30am but they were late because they had several other sick people to get off. On day 3 of the cruise I knew there was covid on the ship because I was told by a crew member that her coworker was in quarantine. I did not get covid but my husband got it the last 2 days on the ship. We still had a great vacation except for the last 2 days. Hopefully you stayed healthy!

So sorry he got sick.  What did he do since you were so close to the end?  Did he quarantine?  How and when did you get home ?

Thank you for your kind sympathy. He did quarantine for the 2 days and we ordered room service. It wasn't bad since we had a balcony and I could sit outside and read. We live in Florida so I drove straight home (7.5 hr drive). So, we got home around 4pm on Saturday. I read the other covid positive people would be assisted with transportation to a hotel where they could continue to quarantine until negative. Thankfully, we didn't have to do this and could drive straight home.

No, just you😀.   I was just trying to figure out how they handled the Covid people getting off the ship.  I think you were the first Covid passengers to leave.  I left after I took your picture.
