ESLO Posted March 9, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 9, 2006 I am considering parking at the port in NY when sail out in April. Do we need to make a reservation? Thanks Dear cindybeach, This information directly from the New York Passenger Ship Terminal site. We had many times parked on the pier in the past but now find it better to take car service, our choice. The parking is with no reservations and also first come, first serve. But, at this time of year, you should have no problem unless there are several ships at the same time in port, and even then should be no trouble. You can look at the cruise schedule on the below website: http://www.NYPST.com Hope this helps you for your voyage...... Regards, :) ESLO (Bev & Ed) PARKING RATES Cruise Parking (Multi-Day Passengers) $24.00 Per Day Daily Rate (Up to 10 Hours) (Drop Offs/Visitors) $22.00 Overnight Rate (per 24 Hours) $25.00 Monthly Rate (For Parking in Excess of 8 Days) $180.00 Taxes are included in the Rates. Payment accepted in Cash or Travelers’ Checks. Visa and MasterCard Accepted. Reservations are not accepted. Budget Queen Posted March 9, 2006 #6 Share Posted March 9, 2006 You may want to consider taking Metro North out of Conn. parking is $4/day and an easy transfer from Grand Central. I take the 42 bus and walk a few blocks.
