Want To Change Cruise To Another One

We have booked a cruise in May, but because of a wedding do not wish to sail on this cruise.

We have paid our £150 deposits for the cruise and do not wish to lose this if we book another cruise.

Does anyone know how many days prior to sailing Celebrity would swop our cruise to another one without losing our deposits?

Is your deposit refundable or non-refundable? It should show on your invoice.

Example: Right below your total it will say whether its refundable or non-refundable. If you do not have your invoice, ask your TA or Celebrity for it, or find the email sent to you when you booked. A change fee of $100 per guest applies to change ships or dates.

I'm seeing the £ symbol, so I can only assume the booking is based on UK rules, which means the deposit is non-refundable.  You'll have to call to ask to be moved to another sailing.  Not sure on the success rate though.

Thanks. It just says Amount Paid. I can’t see anything on the invoice which suggests if it’s refundable or not.

Since you quoted your deposit in £, I will assume you booked the cruise in the UK. Policies there are different than in the US. Hopefully someone familiar with UK cancellation policies will chime in soon. In the mean time try looking on the Celebrity UK website faqs,  or call them. 

 

If you are allowed to shift your deposit to a different sailing, it would likely have to be done before final payment is due.
