Dancing on the Getaway!

For those interested in dancing the Getaway had many places to choose! The sugarcane mojitos bar has a wonderful guy and girl playing Latin music almost every night with dancing in front of band or on walkway. Enjoyed by many of friendly folks willing to share their dancing lessons. Also same duo in atrium with dancing.

Reggae band had us dancing in atrium, in other area with Motown and ABBA tribute plus by the pool. Dj by pool too!

Every morning in Bliss Lounge activities staff had a rotating dance fitness class, Daniela from Columbia was the best. Daniela also taught us dancing lessons in atrium too.

Burn the floor performers also taught us to dance in atrium plus performing in Tropicana restaurant a few times and dancing was available there many nights during dinner. Huge dancing parties at Spice H20 until 1 am. Very well attended. Alvin the CD and his staff were truly amazing.

So much fun. We often had 20,000 steps or more.

Gaining no weight.

Also the chicken wings in O Sheehan pub are not as good as previous so that’s a help with weight gain. But so pleased with amount of activities as our second cruise after ongoing pandemic,

May 2022 on RCL adventure was a bit boring with karaoke and slilent disco dreadful. Great news about NCL activities back in full swing.

Agreed on Getaway dancing! Many negative comments but we are active cruisers too! Had an amazing time with so much dancing to such wonderful live music. Theme parties and active fellow passengers. Off course the many on the sidelines with folded arms and lemons 🍋 in their mouths. Not smiling 😊 so sad 😞. We always notice the same dancers dancing and the same sitters sitting!
