Cancellation process

We recently had to cancel our Alaskan cruise on the Solstice leaving May 3.  We called January 30, in the evening, to request the cancellation and figure out what happens with our no-refundable deposit.  We had already paid for the cruise in full so we were afraid that it might take some time for our credit card to be credited.

Today, February 3 when we checked our credit card, the entire balance was returned to us.  We expect the future cruise credit to reach us by email in the next month or so.

We found this service exceptional given the lengthy waits we experienced during Covid.

You were still 2 days before final payment so I would have thought you would have lost $100 pp and got the remainder of you deposit as a FCC and anything else you paid as a refund since you were before final payment.

Looks like you got lucky.
