Boarding appointment time - cabin arrival as group

Hi.  Wondering how firm is carnival’s statement for whole cabin must be together for check in appointment time. Our cabin is arriving on 2 flights that is 2 hr apart.  Wondering if we truly need to wait for whole cabin to board.  We prefer to have first group enjoy the boat vs sitting at either the airport or cruise terminal.

Other cruise lines don’t care if cabin mates arrive separately and later.

thanks
