Miami airport taxi / shuttle

Hi everyone,

 

Firstly, I apologise for asking the kind of question that has no doubt been asked a million times. I have searched the site for info on this but have had no joy.

 

Can anyone give me some advice on airport taxi / shuttle to Ft Lauderdale?

 

Would anyone know whether we are would be better booking ahead or are we able to take a cab easily enough. Also, is there any / much difference in cost of using any particular method?

 

All advice would be very welcome.

Are you talking about flying into Miami and getting to the port at Ft Lauderdale? Uber/Lyft is your best deal. Taxi is possible, but more expensive. No you don't need to book in advance unless you do something like Larry's Limo or a shuttle. 

 

And yes, it is discussed here quite frequently.

Yes, fly into Miami and head to ft lauderdale to stay prior to boarding ship.

 

I'll check out the suggestions above and will hopefully work something out for the transfer.

Rideshare Uber/Lyft is by the far the easiest option. Taxi will do it too, but it will be more expensive. Unless you need a large SUV or Van, then a UberXL or Taxi will be around the same price.
