egurbi Posted February 21, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2023 Alas, it is looking like I will need to cancel a cruise booked through casinos at seas that sails this Saturday. In addition to the $140 administrative fee, I paid the port taxes, prepaid Daily service charge, and the tips for the free at sea dinners. Am I correct that if I cancel I should receive a refund to my credit card of all of these charges with the exception of the $140 administrative charge? And this still applies even if I cancel on 2 days notice [will know for certain on Thursday morning for a Saturday cruise]. Many thanks in advance for your kind replies. phillygwm Posted February 21, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2023 Did they add the travel protection as well? That's $35 and they usually just add it (given the minimal amount, I don't question it.) That may also protect you.

Your only cost is the admin fees, upgrade fees, and insurance costs. Everything else should go back to original form of payment. Based on your description, the last minute cancellation only costs you $140.

Just trying to learn in case something comes up in the future.

Just trying to learn in case something comes up in the future. That is your "cruise fare". It is subject to the cancellation policy. If you have insurance, you can file a claim to get that back. If you purchase insurance through NCL and cancel for an uncovered reason (i.e., the Aon insurance company denies your claim), you get your FCC for 75% of 90% from NCL.
