Disembarking before end of cruise

Does anyone have first hand experience leaving a ship before the final port? We cruise out of Barcelona on 3/1 and would like to exit the ship one day early. Who would we talk to if this is possible? I assume it would be customer service onboard as the phone customer service for MSC has not proven to be very helpful in the past.

Have you actually booked yet? MSC in Europe operate different to US cruise lines, they tend to board and disembark at every port they visit in the Med. 

 

You may find you can book a cruise doing exactly what you want rather than booking Barcelona and then getting off a day early.

Yes we have done it several times with MSC and NCL.

Pre Covid it was easy. Last couple of years we have been denied.

 With MSC you need to contact CS onboard. 

The prior post is very factual.

Last time we "broke voyage" was in Barcelona as it was cheaper to fly home than from Nice the next day.

Thank you, yes we are booked. It was not an option to book less than the 10 day loop at the time. We will see once onboard. If they say it is fine we will book accomodations to meet our needs, otherwise we will just get off in Barcelona.

The OP is on the Lirica cruise on 3/11, not the standard bus route with guests boarding at every port.  EM
