Îs there priority check in for diamond guest in Miami (MSC Divina, terminal E) ?

I have seen a video with long lines outside and inside. Is there a difference entrance / line for diamond guests?

Other information or advice?

Another question: In the same video it looks like hundreds of pieces of luggage just standing around curb side. How does the luggage drop off work there?

Yes, there is priority for Diamond members in Miami.  The luggage drop off works the same as in every other port - you give it to a porter and it, eventually, makes it way onboard and then to your cabin.  If you have any concern you can carry on your luggage if it can fit through a standard security screening machine.

Most recently we have found we have to ask where the Diamond Line is, very little signage, so don’t simply join long line, find an employee at front of line and ask.

Good point, and you may have to ask more than one staff member.  The port staff are really contractors, so individuals may know their job and tasks, but may not know the subtleties of all the logistics.  If they are use to working certain lines, the concept of "Diamond" status may be foreign to them.

The line for Diamond is shared with Aurea priority check in. When we were there last year we had to wait in the security line with everyone else and then someone walked us to the priority line after security. When we sailed out of PC, we were given priority for the security line and the check in line. Much faster than port miami.

You may have to both pay attention to what's going on and ask.

When we got to the port there was an individual directing everyone to the regular line, and she was blocking both the sign and entry for diamond/aurea. We knew we were supposed to have priority boarding so we stopped and asked. Then she moved and pointed us to the priority line.

Also, after checking in, they gave us a number and told us to sit with the crowd until we heard our number called, when in fact they were regularly taking small groups of aurea/diamond guests to the ship immediately after being checked in, just off to the side from the priority check-in. We also only found that out because we went over and asked.
