Looking for sea glass in Bimini, Paradise Island or CoCoCay

Finding sea glass is completely a luck-of-the-draw kind of thing.  It can be rare to find some, especially on beaches like CoCoCay or Paradise Island where any sea glass isn't going to come ashore long before someone scoops it up.

If you have young kids who would be excited to find some sea glass, there's an option:  cheat.

Go onto Amazon, spend $20 and buy a bag of sea glass.  Take the nice ones in a backpack with you.  Go out to a remote section of the beach, scatter them on the tideline, and then take the kids to hunt for glass.  They will be as excited as kids looking for Easter Eggs.

You can do the same thing with seashells.

Is it cheating?  Of course.  Will they know?  Not if you do it right.  Will you make great memories for them?  Yes, even if someday when they are older they figure it out.

My wife still talks about the time she went as a child to The Baths in the BVIs and they found pirate treasure in the rocks!  And of course she knows now it was a set-up.  But as a kid, she loved it.
