Hamilton Town Cryer Free Walking Tour

We are planning to go on the Hamilton Town Cryer free walking tour in May and would like some feedback from anyone who has been on it.  Is it worth it?  If we don’t go on this tour we would spend more time in St George.

We did it in June 2022. It was very interesting. It lasted much longer than planned as the Town Cryer knows everyone and they all stop to say hello. We enjoyed it very much. He shared a lot of information but kept it very light and fun. You stay up in the area around the town hall and down to the beautiful Victoria Park. You do not go down towards Front Street. Ed Christopher is a Bermuda treasure! If you enjoy hearing local lore you can not miss with him.

It is available Mon.- Fri at 10:30 AM April-December.

We did it last June and loved it.  Some of the people in our tour were locals that were doing it again with friends that were visiting Bermuda.

There are Tuk Tuk tours that are every day. It is new but I have heard good things about them. https://tuktukbermuda.com

 

You can get the tourist map at the Visitor Information Centre and do it yourself. Hamilton is a small town and easy to walk around. Saturday would be better as most stores in Hamilton are closed on Sunday. Or you could do a taxi tour.

What is the distance of the walk. Distance might be an issue for one of the group.
