From professional experience of a similar situation in a completely different industry, things tend to get fractious near the end of this, and it's highly likely this will be the root cause for all the shore-base customer service problems that people have experienced. That's almost certainly going to change, but hold onto your hats! First the new team is going to have to go through a huge learning curve - not just of Azamara's new systems - but quite probably very many of those involved will be new to the cruise industry. It won't be perfect, but they are now in control of their own destiny.
