Copenhagen Card for pre-booking timed tickets

Recommended Posts

We are planning to see Rosenborg Castle on Friday, June 9th and I read that it is advisable to book a timed ticket in advance on their website.  I see that the time that we would prefer has only a few tickets left already so buying in advance does seem like good advice.  However, Rosenborg Castle is an attraction that is covered by the Copenhagen Card, which we intend to purchase.  However there does not seem to be a way to book a time slot in advance on Rosenborg's website without paying for an admission ticket.  It is a bit of a dilemma since, obviously, I do not want to pay for tickets that will be covered once we have the card in hand.  Am I missing something?

Using this page on the Copenhagen Card’s website, I found a link that says “book a time slot”.  Then select “Ticket to Rosenberg”.  After you select your time and date, you get a list of all the various ticket types you can book.  There are adult and child Copenhagen Card options in that list.  I didn’t buy one, but it looks like they are zero priced for checkout.
