Ellipooh Posted April 5, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2023 I’m booked in a Studio for my first NCL cruise, and I’ve been researching the heck out of it. Found this article in the news today, it provides a decently balanced review of the Studio cabin: Article The only real concern I have after reading the article is the bizarre angle of the tv. Surely that’s not standard? I won’t be watching a lot of tv, but I do have it on in the morning as I prepare for the day. I think I would have asked the cabin attendant for assistance in getting that fixed.
Rare shof515 Posted April 5, 2023 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2023 looks like your standard tv mount that has the tilt adjustment, very common. usually all you have to do just push the tv to whatever angle you want

We've had family stay in the studio cabins on several of the away class ships and the Epic, and its just a normal tv mount. Limited mobility but easy to adjust. Looks like someone tilted that one way out.
hallux Posted April 5, 2023 #4 Share Posted April 5, 2023 (edited) The TV in my Studio on the Escape was at a nearly identical angle and I was not able to adjust it. As you're most likely to be laying in bed while watching this isn't actually all that horrible. I didn't watch much TV, it was mostly my 'white noise' for going to sleep. I've sailed in Studio cabins on NCL twice now and have really enjoyed the concept! Edited April 5, 2023 by hallux
Rare eileeshb Posted April 5, 2023 #5 Share Posted April 5, 2023 Didn’t have any issues with the angle of the tv in any of the studios I stayed in, could be that one cabin had a fault with the bracket mount of the tv.
