Hi all,

 

My cruise is 19 days away. I made 4 bids for Haven Suites. I am Platinum with NCL. Just want to know when I should be hearing from NCL.

the upgrades is done by a third party company on behalf of NCL, your status is meaningless.

 

depending on the strength of the bid, it can be common for the upgrades to be processed a few days before sail date. on my previous cruise it was 2 days before sail date

It will also depend on whether the Haven is sold out on your cruise. If it is you will not hear until after you board. They will only take bids if people miss the cruise for some reason.

Agree with the above.  You can go to the NCL site like you want to book Haven to see if it’s open.  No sense hoping for an upgrade if it’s full.

On our cruise departing next week, the Haven was wide open with rooms a month out still. Got our upgrade (max bid) come through at T-20.

Upgrades are normally done on the Monday/Tuesday prior to departure. You will get you reject email after the ship leaves the port. That is when upgrades are closed. 
 

There are over 1000 cabins eligible to bid on the few unsold/cancelled Haven rooms,,, so the probability of winning is very very very very small.
