minnie2023 Posted April 12, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2023 Hello, I took 1 disneybwonder cruise to Alaska in September. I'm wondering what is the best low cost month to go? Is it cold in May? Is June OK? What month might have calmest seas? Is there still the refillable popcorn buckets, or has covid eliminated that option?
jalves Posted April 12, 2023 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2023 Some hard questions with no clear-cut answers. Typically the lowest cost sailings are at each end of the season, with the mid-season sailings being the higher priced ones. But that's "typical" and not really definitive. You should have you TA check the prices for a couple of sailings before/after your target date. Cold is a relative thing. Certainly it is colder on the end of the sailing seasons than in the middle. But is it enough to worry about? It depends on what you think is cold and, combined with a potential price savings, is it tolerable. That's up to the individual. . Rare Oceansaway17 Posted April 14, 2023 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2023 I like May or June as there is still plenty of snow in the mountains. But check the itinerary as well.
