What is the second dish, which looks like underdone  pork in mushy pea soup?

It was fish. My wife had that.

 

Think it was either Monkfish or John Dory 

 

I didn't pay much attention to hers tbh. No idea what the sauce is

 

Mine was either lamb or venison (both from the local estate) 

 

Had one on first night and the other the night after

Was initially disappointed we missed out on this particular tasting menu the previous week on Iona. Before boarding I booked three Epicurean evening slots including this one that was advertised. Sadly they did not do this tasting menu that week in the end.
 

Still, got a superb meal though - but I’ve learned to take P&O’s online info with a hefty pinch of salt. Although perhaps I should save some of that salt to perk up the MDR food.

I'm glad there is a separate vegetarian menu, but does anyone know if that has to be requested ahead of the reservation?
