Viewed a review of the NE and the bloggers mentioned the ropes course was not operational for their Jan ‘23(?) cruise. Does anyone have an update? We are traveling with two grandkids. That would be greatly disappointing if that’s not an option for them.

We sailed the Escape March 11-18.  Ropes course was open every day.  (Although I will say they at times did not have the top level, walk-the-plank, and zip-line circuits open while at sea when it was pretty breezy.)  We very much enjoyed it - went several days.

Is there a fee for the ropes course?

No fee. But you will almost certainly have to stand in line. I think we were in line for about 30 minutes, but others have reported much longer waits.

Keep in mind that the ropes course is only open on certain times/days, and can be closed during those times due to high winds or bad weather.
