VitaminSea53 Posted April 23, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2023 (edited) We are ready to get back to cruising. Covid is a distant ‘memory’ here in California. With final payment looming, I am wondering if we are likely to face required masking or Covid tests onboard or in port on our cruise Rome to Barcelona (via Greece)? Is Celebrity still quarantining folks in cabins without balconies? I am assuming that Covid stays as it is now. - yes it is there but not nearly as fatal. Any recent Celebrity experience is appreciated. Edited April 23, 2023 by VitaminSea53 Clarification
Rare mahdnc Posted April 23, 2023 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2023 (edited) Here is the latest requirements per the Celebrity website link. There is no mandatory mask requirement for crew nor passengers. If you come down with COVID you are quarantined in your own cabin. ak810 Posted April 25, 2023 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2023 Hi there, I can confirm that in Greece no more COVID restrictions are in place (not even masks in public transport), no testing, no vaccination certificates. Just like COVID never happened.
Rare mahdnc Posted April 25, 2023 #4 Share Posted April 25, 2023 When we stayed in Rome in early October before our westward Transatlantic cruise, there were no COVID requirements either--masks, spacing, proof of vaccination, etc. Our cruise stopped in Toulon, Palma de Mallorca, and Cartagena and it was like Rome--no requirements.
