Venice airport to Mestre

Is there a direct train from Venice airport to Mestre? What is the official name of the station? Cost?

There is no train at Venice Marco Polo Airport-- you need to either take a taxi or bus to get to Mestre.

It's a 20 minute drive to Mestre. 

The ATVO airport express is 10E pp.  Its drop point is the Mestre train station.  A cab is 45E.

Don't make my mistake of asking at the wrong ticket window in Marco Polo airport!  It's the same price, but we ended up on the #15 ACTV local bus.  Slower and perfectly adequate (perhaps better if your hotel is not close to Mestre station) but we did stop multiple times on the route.
