Swimming with pigs private tour

We are cruising to nassau in Feb 2024 We want to to do swimming with pigs tour but cruise ship tour is sold out Looking on input about doing it on your own We are in port 8am til 4pm Im concerned about doing a private because of distance from cruiseport Any information would be great!!!!!!!!

I didn’t think that any of the cruise excursions go to exuma, just local islands where they bring pigs to the beach.

Yeah, there's a fairly substantial thread just below this one about it.

 

The real pig beach is in the Exumas.  The others, from what I gather, are just touristy imitations.

By “private” you mean “independent and private” I assume? Check on the independent, shared excursions to Pearl Island or Rose Island. The Exuma options are typically too far or just too expensive for most day visitors to Nassau, but not impossible.

We look for independent excursion operators when possible, and when it makes sense, as here, STT, Tortola and other ports…But your comfort level, and time in port, should drive your decision of course…
