Question aboout dining

Recommended Posts

When I booked my cruise I was MTD and then I switched to traditional first seating. They told me I was waitlisted for it.  Yesterday I was talking to Royal and I was told I was confirmed for first seating.

If I sign into my account/cruise online where would I see that?  If I look at MTD it does say I am not a flextime guest but nowhere do I see first seating.  Is that something that should be there or am I missing it?  Will it only show on the app?

Thanks

If you're looking on the app pull up my calendar and scroll down. Mine shows my fixed dining time (5:15 first seating) there for everyday. That was the easiest place I found it other than the invoice from my TA.

Thanks. I have not downloaded the app yet but was just looking online and did not see it.

I know I have to download the app eventually but will get to that  later - I still have a ways to go

I booked our upcoming cruise a little late and was told traditional dining was unavailable (on a waitlist). We have never done MTD. In checking out the available times for MTD I see that they are all at 7;30 or later. We never eat this late and it's not something I want to do. Is there any way to resolve this so we can eat around 5:30?

oh I guarantee on day 1 you can resolve a lot of issues with dining.  heck a lot of folks change things on 2 or 3rd day if they do not like their table.  Also more and more folks are going to the WJ at night because the food is good and quick.  You can see the selections and make nice salads.

suggest you do speciality dining at LUNCH on seas days as the prices are lower than dinner and no dealing with busy WJ.

Have Royal or whoever booked your cruise send you an new invoice and your dining time will show on that.

Thank you for your reply.  When i called i made a payment so they did send an invoice. I just looked at that and it said waitlisted. So I guess I am still waitlisted. Not sure why she said that I was not waitlisted but confirmed for first seating.  I still have a while to go so i will just wait it out i guess.
