We are booked on a Caribbean cruise 300 days away.  We need to cancel and wonder if anyone knows how much it will cost us?  We are in the UK.

Thank you.

This is what it is in USA.  It may be different in the UK.

Cruises 25 Days Or Less:

Days Prior to Departure Cancellation Fee
120-91 days 15% of full fare
90-46 days 50% of full fare
45-31 days 75% of full fare
30 days or less, or non-appearance 100% of full fare

Cruises Of 26 Days Or More:

Days Prior to Departure Cancellation Fee
150-121 days 15% of full fare
120-91 days 50% of full fare
90-76 days

75% of full fare

Thank you.

Have you asked your very experienced travel agent?

I believe at this stage the deposit will be lost. Could you claim on your insurance - depends on the reason for cancellation of course. Something to consider if it's feasible for you is to ask if you could transfer to a different cruise instead. They may agree to it. Or may not.

Probably so, if the deposit was 15% or less of the full fare.  I have never had a problem transferring a booking to a different date with Seabourn, but I'm not from the UK.  Check with your TA.

I am in the UK and our deposit here is generally non refundable regardless of how much was paid. In this case as I said earlier, I would try to transfer if it were feasible, but SB can refuse that and refuse any refund of deposit.
