Bidding on an ultra deluxe veranda

My fiance and I are traveling on celebrity reflections and just received an email about bidding on a higher class room. We want to bid on the ultra deluxe veranda and I was curious how much the bid normally is for that room. If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Before placing a bid, I recommend you got to any online travel site and do a mock booking for your sailing and the room category you are considering.  Check out what that category is going for and then decide if you want to upgrade yourself outright without the hassle of bidding and then wondering if it will be accepted (and possibly being disappointed if it's not).  Many times it costs the same or even less to upgrade outright.

 

If you do place a bid, they will give you a range with a minimum bid amount.  You wouldn't be able to go under that amount but you could go higher and those higher amounts are predetermined...you pick the amount that makes you comfortable.  The other thing to consider is that if you are just bidding on a room itself, ie. it doesn't come with any additional perks like Aqua class or a suite, then you are really only bidding on a room feature(s) itself...like a bigger balcony or better location on the ship.
