Daily drink special - what types of drinks are they and do they save $ ?

Family of 4 cruising for the first time next week in Mediterranean with a newbie question.

 

We did not get the drink package since no one except myself drinks alcohol (3-4 per day)....

 

When and where do they announce the drink of the day special ?

Is it alcoholic or non ?

How much do you save ?

Purchased 4 device Internet browse package for $150USD for 7 days - quite pricey compared to a 20GB Euro eSIM for 2 weeks while on land...
