mafig Posted May 21, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2023 Are all the jr. suites on Odyssey the same? Do they all have two bathrooms? Do they all have the tub/shower feature or do some have a stand-alone shower (which we prefer). Is there a toilet in both bathrooms? What's the difference in J4/J3 categories? Cruise Gopher Posted May 21, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2023 (edited) J4 are the best ones because they have the tub AND separate stand up walk in shower. J3/J1 just have a tub/shower combo with a shower curtain. J4 one toilet. J3/J1 two toilets, one in each bathroom. Rare RobInMN Posted May 22, 2023 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2023 In addition to what @Cruise Gopher said, J4's sleep a max of 2, J3's can sleep 3/4. I believe that the overall room size is the same, but the J4's allocate more space to the bathroom, and there's not enough space for the sleeper sofa. PWP-001 Posted May 22, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 22, 2023 I must have had a J4 because instead of the walk-in closet, I had the half bath with toilet and sink. The larger bath had both a tub and walk in shower with sink. I kinda missed the walk-in closet, but I'd trade it any day for the walk-in shower with glass door and no curtain.

mafig Posted May 22, 2023 Author #6 Share Posted May 22, 2023 Oh, one other question, if I may. Did any of you who were in a jr. suite try to make dinner reservations at Coastal Kitchen? Were you successful?
PWP-001 Posted May 22, 2023 #7 Share Posted May 22, 2023 Yes, I had dinner every night. But I was traveling by myself and was flexible with my dinner time. I at late and never saw a crowded room. I never asked whether suite and Pinnacle occupancy for the cruise was low or if most guests just ate early.
