SireDoime Posted May 25, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2023 I searched and didn't find this topic: are the Queen Elizabeth's King Beds actual King beds, or are they two Twin beds pushed together? Thank you! 😄

naturelovergirl Posted May 25, 2023 #3 Share Posted May 25, 2023 The rooms on cruises are that way so that they can be adapted either way depending on guest preference- twins or set together as a king We found our bed (king configuration) to be very comfortable on Cunard 3
SireDoime Posted May 28, 2023 Author #4 Share Posted May 28, 2023 (edited) I believe I will go with the one twin bed (placed sideways), so I can have more walking space within my stateroom. Thank you! 🤗 Edited May 28, 2023 by SireDoime font changes
Winifred 22 Posted May 28, 2023 #5 Share Posted May 28, 2023 Sorry to be dense. Do you mean only have one single bed in the room. I don’t think that is offered. I have never been offered that and always have the bed separated. I use the spare bed to put my bag on etc..
ovccruiser Posted May 28, 2023 #6 Share Posted May 28, 2023 (edited) Not sure if there is enough room, maybe the OP is thinking of L shape with the beds to give more space? If you really want space, you could try a deluxe inside, it is one and a half cabins so lots of space, but obviously no balcony or window. Winifred 22 Posted May 28, 2023 #7 Share Posted May 28, 2023 I can’t see them allowing non standard configurations. As you suggest there wouldn’t be enough room anyway with all the fixed furniture and the table lamps are sometimes fixed. I have stayed in a variety of cabins across all 3 Queens and can’t envisage putting the beds in an L. Interesting about the deluxe inside. I am eyeing up a late saver filler cruise and they are advertising inside deluxe. Tempted to see what they are like.
