Have I been downgraded?

Before I phone pando I just wanted to check. I booked a DD cabin on Ventura. Superior delux aft.  This was in consultation with the cs at the time so it eould be in 9 and not overlooked.  The cabin has just been allocated and it’s D623 which to my reading is DB and overlooked.  
 

am I correct that this is a downgrade?

DB is an upgrade from DD. Starts at F for lowest. Your agent should have clicked do not upgrade. Find out if that was done first.

Ok thanks I did say no upgrade.  Suppose the next question is is is this cabin overlooked. It’s very close to aft

All D deck cabins are overlooked because they are longer and the balconies, ‘stick out’

The DD balcony would be exactly the same.

If I remember correctly all the balconies on D deck are overlooked. 

I’ve found this video on you tube for you. Same deck, same side just more midship.
