Rare jkbec101 Posted June 1, 2023 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2023 In the last month or so, how has embarkation been? We board on the 11th and trying to mentally prepare my kids.
RB9643 Posted June 1, 2023 #2 Share Posted June 1, 2023 If you are at the main NCL port, it's pretty straightforward. Not saying it's perfect. But it is better than getting stuck in the old Carnival port. As everyone should do in life, prepare for the worst -- hope for the best.
Rare Von & John Posted June 2, 2023 #3 Share Posted June 2, 2023 We embarked 0n 04/21 - so a little over a month ago... Everything went great for us, although we did have an early morning check-in. No long lines!!! Entering the Terminal - they did request to see Passports & Boarding Doc's. Have a GREAT Cruise! Cheers -- Von & John

Always have your documents ready. I think we had to show them 3 times. The worst thing is a group of 8 in front of you that are constantly digging out the documents that should already be in their hands. 1
Rare wolft927 Posted June 2, 2023 #5 Share Posted June 2, 2023 Sailed out in April on the Joy. Boarding was smooth but a bit delayed due to Full Coast guard inspection. We were in the Haven so showed our boarding docs outside then were taken to a separate entrance then up an elevator to the separate Security screening and check in line. Haven Boarded first and our friends boarded in group 1, and they got on board about 45 minutes after us.
