MONARCH DINING - 5:30?? Main

I just receivied my doc's and it says main dining is at 5:30, isn't that rather early....

All I can say is that they changed the dining schedule!

Got my docs for March 24 and it says main dining is at 6 pm. Was on the Monarch in January and February and both times main was at 6 pm and late was 8:30. Does seem strange.

When you get on the ship, I'll bet the times will be closer to 6.

When we went in Feb. the main dining was at 5:30, but you have until 6:15 to get there before they shut the doors.

We always went at 6PM and had no problems (5:30 we were still getting ready)

I hope you had a table by yourselves so that tablemates did not have to wait 1/2 hour to order.

Online it says:

"Preferred Dinner Seating:

Generally, main seating is at 6:15 p.m. and second seating is at 8:30 p.m. Please check your CruiseCompass onboard for seating times specific to your sailing."

 

Which sailing are you on?

We are on the March 27th cruise, there are 10 of us....I hope we get a table for 10 so that we can come in a little later if we want. However, I just found out the Captain's Party is from 7:00-8:00pm, if we did not go in at 5:30, we would miss the party.....
