Rare EllieinNJ Posted June 10, 2023 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2023 I am currently on a b2b sailing booked through my travel agent. This is only my second time on Carnival. The first one was booked directly with Carnival so there was no TA OBC. They are telling me that all travel agent's on board credit is always considered cruise cash and non refundable. This has never been true on other cruise lines and my TA never told me either. I wound up buying gift certificates to use to pay for my next Carnival cruise. Is this always the case? Rare shof515 Posted June 10, 2023 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2023 it depends on how the travel agent obtains the onboard credit if they purchase it as a gift from like the funshop/carnival website it is usually refundable if it is perk as a bonus for booking a cruise, it is non refundable
staceyglow Posted June 10, 2023 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2023 How much was the OBC? I generally have no problems spending it all.
Pyxie Posted June 10, 2023 #4 Share Posted June 10, 2023 If the TA purchased it out of their own pocket through the Fun Shops (which is usually the case), it is cruise cash and nonrefundable.
