CNew1807 Posted June 11, 2023 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2023 Hi, We haven’t cruised before and wondered what tips people would share about a Mediterranean cruise with the Azura? Also, has anyone stayed in P336 and if so what did you think? Any thoughts about freedom dining?
sandancer Posted June 11, 2023 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2023 I suggest you have a look at the reviews section where you can see what other people experienced. A word of caution - these opinions, good and bad, are how others see the ship and cruise. We have been on many cruises where the reviews have made us wonder if we were on the same ship as the reviewer. A lot of people (including us) have been cruising for many years and it’s hard not to compare with how things used to be and how they are now. We have had to adjust our expectations, not just with P&O but with other cruise lines we sail. We have 2 cruises booked on Azura. I hope someone can help with the cabin. We prefer Freedom dining and always choose it on any ship we cruise on if it is available. 2

Thejuggler Posted June 13, 2023 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2023 The main downside with all Grand Class ships such as Azura and Ventura is the lack of a crows nest bar and not many public areas with a view to sit and watch to world go by. In the Med it may not be as much of an issue as sea days can be spent on deck, but if the weather is poor indoor areas are limited.
