We flew Singapore airlines last month and they did not weigh our carry-ons.  I wonder if they recognised our status with Star Alliance?

In Toronto there was a machine to check but wasn't printing out it's report.  It didn't like one of our bags but no one checked as we boarded so we were ok 

 

People are taking smaller carry ons I noticed and there was lots of room in the overhead bins
