What's at the Costa Maya pier?

We're traveling to Costa Maya next month and don't want to do an excursion but what's at the pier?  Shopping of any kind?  Duty free stores?  We might want to grab a souvenir or something at the pier but not leave that area.  Thanks!

shopping - shops and stalls, duty free, bars, restaurants, Papantia display, swimming pool, tequila/ chocolate tasting, aviary with over head walks, mayan spa, dolphins. It is a fully developed man-made enclosure.
