Recently booked this cruise for my hubby and I. We’ve been wanting to embark in NYC and this ship looks great!

We booked this only because the ship is "new". We last cruised with Carnival in 2015 on Victory and was the worst cruise ever. Have been cruising with Norwegian since and have cruised out of NYC many times. We are excited and hopefully won't be disappointed.

I have only sailed with Carnival and I have been on a mixture of the older and newer boats. I have never been disappointed with any of my sailings and I hope this remains true with this upcoming sailing. I started cruising in 2014 and fell in love with it immediately. 

This was supposed to be my first solo cruise, but I have actually just booked a quick getaway in August (yay!) with Carnival so it will be my second solo cruise but still my first cruise out of a NY port and during the winter. I was a little apprehensive about leaving out of NY in the winter because I know how bad the winters can be, but the prospect of being in warmer weather-even for a few days-had me sold!

FSCHAUER- it's funny you had the worst cruise with the Carnival Victory as that was my first sailing a year earlier than your experience and that cruise is the reason why I am still cruising today! But hopefully the Venezia is a better sailing for you!

Hello Hello! 35yr old sailing by myself on my 2nd Carnival cruise but 7th overall..... so excited for this!

Hubby and I (Tom & Patty) are booked on this cruise, we love going out of NY. It is an easy commute from Pennsylvania. We are B2B with the next sailing, even managed to get the same cabin for both👍

On this cruise also. Will be my 2nd time on Venezia and have 2 booked after. Also sailing solo.

My wife and I just booked this cruise looking forward to this cruise as it is replacing a Sydney Australia cruise that we had to cancel.

We have 48 more days to go!! I am so ready for this trip and looking forward to the warmer beaches and all the people I plan on meeting. 
My first solo cruise was way better than I thought it would be so I can’t wait for this 2nd solo

Ok guys in a little over a week from now we will all be aboard this ship. I’ve never been on this ship and looking forward to getting my vacation on!! Is there anyone from this forum that would like to meet up?!  If so, where and when? Lmk who’s down and we can go from there! Can yall tell I’m excited??

Yes! Casino “pretty bad” I didn’t find any other areas of the ship smoky BUT I was on only the 3rd cruise after TA and 4 day Bermuda last June. I am a former (very courteous lol) smoker and pretty tolerant but it really bothered me. 🙅‍♀️🤷‍♀️
