Koningsdam Evening Quiet Areas (Alaska Cruise)

For our Alaskan cruise, we’re looking for recommendations on after dinner “quiet areas” on Koningsdam to just talk amongst ourselves.  Is the pool area a good option?  (If no movie is playing).  How about the Crows Nest, is it fairly quiet and conducive to conversation?

Other suggestions?

Thanks!

You are likely to hear what passes for overhead music in practically every public place you go.
You could try the sitting area near Club Orange , by the windows, if dinner time has ended.

On the Nieuw Statendam the only quiet place I could find without that awful overhead noise was my cabin.

We found a side room area to the right as you enter at the Crows Nest to be one of the very few places where there was no constant noise or piped in music during the day, assume this might also be the case in the evening - very pleasant.

Took a lot of searching to find these quiet havens on this ship. Even the Lido Buffet and Canaletto areas after they stop serving the evening hour meals can be a quieter place than most of the other venues.

During the day the Ocean Bar was the surprising quiet spot, along with the other suggestion - seating along Club Orange.  Not sure at night, but worth a look see.

The "Library" off the Crows Nest had the constant distraction of the coffee machines, but don't know how late they are open - so that might be one more area in the Crows Nest area in the evening if the Explorations Cafe has closed..

I don't find the piped in music overly noisy when looking for a place to go for a conversation with friends so my suggestions would be:

Crows nest, pool area if there is no movie, Dutch Cafe(closes at 8 or 9 but seating areas are available), bar/lounge area across from Rudy's (lots of people seem to hang out here and visit or play games), tables beside club orange if after dinner, tables in the lido on the side that is not preparing to open for late night buffet
