Paul Gauguin sailing: weather in Tahiti in April

Recommended Posts

Usually good though it is the tail end of "rainy season" (a term that means nothing more than 'increased likelihood of rain in a tropical region') so be prepared for some rain. WOW, our fav place........you are going to have a wonderful experience!

The weather is great no matter what the season, but Vaitape is right about the increased possibility of rain (but you can get a tropical shower or storm any time, we've experienced a couple in late May.)

But it is also hotter and more humid. On the ship, this does not matter, but on land, away from the water, it can be oppressive. So just be aware of this. It's still a great time to go, we were there over Easter several years ago, and had a great time.
