Butchart Gardens transportation at the pier?

We will be in Victoria on Monday October 2nd and wonder if there will be transportation available at the pier? We’d rather not do a ship excursion. We have been here before and don’t really want to do the Butterfly Gardens.

Based on the GVHA, all ships on October 2nd are docking between 07:00 and 07:30. The Gardens are on Autumn hours, so don't open until 09:00.

 

I'm not aware of any tours departing Ogden Point Cruise Terminal to Butchart, except for shore-ex. You will have options to get downtown - about 20 - 30 min walk, taxi or shuttle bus. From downtown you can catch a city bus out to Butchart Gardens. Gray Line also operate an Express Shuttle, but based on their schedule it is Thurs - Sunday only by October.

 

The city bus is # 75 and departs from the bus station opposite the BC Museum. Takes just over 1 hr. each way.
