Son and Daughter in law are setting sail in a couple of weeks. His birthday is happening while on board. Can she get decorations or a cake by going to guest services or cherry on top...or does she need to do it from the fun shops ahead of time? Thanks in advance!

I don't know about decorations, but they can get a cake from Cherry on Top.  It doesn't have to be ordered ahead of the cruise.

Yea, I don't think they do the decorations once onboard. Could be wrong.

 

But the cake, yes you can get that onboard.

Can you order a birthday cake at Cherry on Top and have it brought to your table at dinner time as a surprise.

I have seen waiters singing Happy Birthday to a guest - how is that arranged

 

Can you order the cake for same day - order in AM for dinner or do they need 24 hour notice

In other words do they have pre-made or do they make the cake after you order

You can order it and have it delivered to the table at dinner.  I don’t know about whether you can order same day or 24 hour notice.
