We've been to Naha three times. The first time we chartered a private bus on our family reunion cruise because my 90 year FIL was with us. We went to Naminoue Shrine/Beach and Fukushuen Park on the 2nd and 3rd visits. Here is a video of our visit in March 2023 and this was from 2019.

I'm pretty late to this thread, but I was stationed at NAHA Air Base for a few months in 1971.  I remember one of our favorite meals was getting a plate of taco's at a restaurant called George's.

To my surprise, after doing a Google search, the restaurant is still there, but in a new building.  Our ship stops there in October so we'll hop in a cab and head to George's.  Hopefully the area around it will still have some shops and clubs.
