How to go from Hotel to Airport in Barcelona

Our return flight home is at 6:05 am so will need to go to the airport in the middle of the night (ugh!).  Our hotel said they could call a taxi or we could prebook with Taxi VIP Barcelona.  Has anyone used them?  Their website doesn't list much in the way of transfer services but more geared toward tours and corporate events etc.  Our hotel is near Las Ramblas near the Cathedral.  How much does it cost to go to the airport?  Thanks.

I would ask your hotel to pre-book a reputable transfer service. Your hotel can give you the prices and options for vehicle type. (that's been our past experience anyway) My daughter was just visiting Barcelona in May and taxis were very busy, especially airport taxis - long waits. Everywhere has shortages of drivers and/or cars right now it seems. Since your transfer would be early morning it might be worth pre-booking and to not worry about it.  Happy travels!
