Thanks again Orator for your thoughts  ,Ive only ever cruised with Celebrity and am keen other what other ships are like in comparison.

Vikings ships do not have a Casino. Neither does Azamara.

Thats my wife/s favorite place on a Cruise so we will not be cruising with Viking.

We just returned from our first Oceania cruise on Marina and They do have a casino and my wife won big on it.

Thanks everyone for all your replies .

Very interesting to hear the differences in various aspects of each cruise line .

Think overall as a younger cruiser I would still opt  for Celebrity ,there seems to be more choice in how you aproach how to tailor you cruise to your suit your own tastes ,less really elderly passengers, perhaps less chance of missing out on excursions (which you seem to have paid for in advance then can miss out if not in a suite or higher grade cabin )sounds like the food is still reasonable on Celebrity .

Think I can say I'll still be with Celebrity for a while yet .

As very active senior cruisers (65 and 71) we would always choose Celebrity over Viking.  In our 35+ plus years of cruising we've sailed Costa, NCL, Princess, HAL, Celebrity.  We like being in an environment of mixed ages including families, with more ship board opportunities and venues.   Our encounters with Viking tours in ports confirm that their slower pace is probably not for us right now.   We have friends who are avid Viking cruisers, but are more sedate and seek a less varied cruise style.  Great there are many lines and ships to cater to people's different wants and styles.
