Sailing on the Solstice this September from Vancouver to Honolulu. Friends of ours are taking the Solstice from Honolulu to Sydney. Would like to meet up with them. Which Honolulu cruise port will Solstice use? How does one find out about this?

There is only one cruise port in Honolulu - at Aloha Tower.

Whether you’re embarking on one of our cruises from Honolulu, or you’re stopped here on a cruise port of call, you’ll become acquainted with Aloha Tower, a historic lighthouse by Pier 9 at Honolulu Harbor. Aloha Tower and its Aloha Tower Marketplace serve as cruisers’ introduction to the great city of Honolulu and is adjacent to the cruise terminal where ships typically dock. Within the Aloha Tower Marketplace, you’ll find souvenir shops and eateries.”:

There is more than one pier in Honolulu.  The Eclipse docked at pier 2 this past May.  I believe it depends on whether the Pride of America is in port that day as I believe they get priority at pier 2 which is the better pier.

@padgman1 According to this schedule, it looks like the Solstice will be at pier 2 on October 1 of this year:  https://hawaii.portcall.com/#!?tab=2 (scroll down until you see Honolulu as this website is all Hawaii ports).

You can clearly see where the ship is docked from Ala Moana Blvd.  Solstice will be at Pier 2C.

You will be disembarking with all your luggage around 8-9am as the ship arrives at 6am, and they won't embark until around Noon.  You might want to think about meeting at their hotel between 9 and 10am.

We are on Solstice also on the HNL to SYD leg.  The ship doesn't depart until Midnight, so once they check in, they should be able to get off and wander around Honolulu for the rest of the day with you.  Pick a meeting point and time.

Thanks for all of the info, peoples....

We will be taking an excursion in Honolulu when we dock, getting to airport at about 130 pm. They have an all aboard time of 5pm, don't know if they can get off the ship after this. Will be trying to meet with them at Aloha Tower Marketplace somewheres....

Wineaux007, hope to meet up with you on the ship, would love to discuss wine !
