moses0 Posted August 1, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2023 We are crossing soon with another couple. After a time in the UK we sail back. The husband of the couple has just found out he has to fly back to USA for an urgent meeting. His wife still wants to doing the crossing back to New York with us. Does anyone know if that will be a problem. Both ways are already paid for. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If final payment has already been made I think there may actually be an issue and would recommend that your friends contact Cunard or their TA as soon as possible. Even if it is out side of the final payment date they should still make contact.

Of course, a lot has changed in the past few years but rather getting well meaning advice here, you would be better off contacting Cunard/TA sooner rather than later. I would be very interested as to what you find out. Jack
Winifred 22 Posted August 1, 2023 #6 Share Posted August 1, 2023 Last year my youngest daughter had to cancel at the last minute and so it was just myself and my eldest daughter. There was no drama, I wasn’t expecting any form of refund and didn’t receive one. I just rang up and cancelled her name off the booking.
moses0 Posted August 2, 2023 Author #7 Share Posted August 2, 2023 Thank you all for the replies. My TA who is also my daughter is on it. She called them but sadly the folks on the phone don't always have the answer. Or we get conflicting answers. Although she loves cruising with Cunard she does not like dealing with them
