Casinos open on overnights ?

We are heading to Bermuda in October. We have been twice 10 years ago. Back then the ships casinos were not open when docked over night. I know that Bermuda was considering letting the ships open their casinos to passengers while docked. Are they now allowed?

Yes, the casino will be open provided your cruise line has paid for the required permit. The ships that regularly sail to Bermuda should all have permits, but if you're on a one off cruise probably not. What ship are you on?

Escape isn't a "regular caller" as it's only doing 5 Bermuda cruises this year, but NCL normally does obtain the casino permit so I have to believe it will be open, particularly since two of the five calls spend two nights in Bermuda.

Yes we are on a 2 night. I guess we will have to see if they are or not. Thanks.

Usually don't open until 9pm when in bermuda. On the Breakaway post pandemic and they had a permit. I assume Joy will too.

Er, I'm a betting man, so I'll bet the Escape casino is indeed open overnight (opening at 9pm). 

 

As @njhorseman wrote, NCL will likely have the permit.

 

Casino has been open for all my more recent NCL sailings to Bermuda - Prima, Joy, Getaway, Gem, and Escape (in 2018).
