heckofagator Posted August 6, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2023 I have read there are limited taxis available post cruise and we are trying to figure out how best to get to the train station in Civitecchia to get back into Rome.
Rare cruisemom42 Posted August 6, 2023 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2023 There are now shuttles within the port that pick up cruise passengers and transport them to the train station without having to transfer from one bus to another. The cost is 6 euro per person, payable when you board the shuttle. More info here: https://civitavecchia.portmobility.it/en/shuttles
heckofagator Posted August 6, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted August 6, 2023 Thank you, all of the googling I was doing and never came across this. Hoping this will be somewhat easily marked but now we know what to look out for.
CynBeth6 Posted August 6, 2023 #4 Share Posted August 6, 2023 (edited) We were recently there on a cruise with Royal and a few days before we disembarked there was a flyer about options. It did not list the Civi train station so we went down to guest services and found out they arrange transportation for that as well. It was 25 not sure if euros or dollars per person. Then we picked a time had different choices. When we got out there were people in the terminal asking if we had arranged anything and once it arrived took us out to our shuttle which was a van and there was another family with us.
