Even now, it has " Gratuities will be added to your booking. " next to the check box but some people don't see it. 

 

If the box is unchecked by default, some people will not see the notification that the box must be checked for the drink/dining package.

 

If the box is checked by default, some people will not see that a service charge/gratuity is added to the total for a "free" thing.  

 

Either way, the service charge/gratuity is seen in the price breakdown long before any personal information or payment information is entered.

my better half is partial to an Iced coffee, so I guess I could ask for some milk and the ice to make with the Nespresso. 😊

So just an update that the plan worked a treat 😊

Got the butler to leave some milk (he bought some small cartons) and then added the espresso with ice and Voila!

Yeah we’ve been getting on fine with it!

2/3 glass with ice then milk then add short shots from a 2 capsules into a coffee cup with a bit or sugar/sweetener- we put a bit of ice in to stop it getting too hot, then poor over the ice and milk. 😊
