Bergen, Norway Airport Hotel Recommendation

We finally booked a Viking cruise, one that disembarks in Bergen. We need to find an airport hotel for one night. As it will be in the middle of the winter, do not want to stay in town for fear of some delay keeping us from our 5:30 AM flight.

 

Would appreciate any airport hotel recommendations.

There is a nice Clarion hotel at the airport.

It is a nice hotel, but when we were there (some years ago), the wall separating the bedroom from the bathroom was clear glass! Gave new meaning to “togetherness”. If this might bother you, check to see if it has changed. If someone has stayed there recently, I’d love an update! Nice simple restaurant on the premises.

Just there a couple of weeks ago and it's basically etched glass with clear borders.  It's an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel to the terminal.  Most, but not all, of it is undercover and through a parking ramp.   No need to wait on a shuttle.  As I recall we left around 4:30am and they were already serving breakfast.
